Scope of this policy

This policy covers the marketing site at gatewyse.com. It does not cover the Gatewyse software itself when you self-host it — your deployment is your data domain, and we receive nothing from it unless you explicitly opt into license-server connectivity by setting LICENSE_SERVER_URL.

What we collect

When you email us via the Contact link, we receive your email address and the contents of the message you sent. We do not run analytics, behavior tracking, fingerprinting, or third-party advertising scripts on this site. Standard server access logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) are retained for security and abuse-prevention purposes.

How we use it

Inquiry email is used to respond to you, qualify the request, and — if you become a customer — manage the commercial relationship. Server logs are reviewed only when investigating abuse, intrusions, or operational incidents.

Retention

Inquiry email is kept for 90 days unless an ongoing business relationship requires longer retention (active customer, signed contract, open opportunity). Server logs are rotated on a rolling 30-day window. We do not retain anything we no longer need.

Who we share with

No one, by default. Email is hosted on a standard provider that processes mail in transit; payment processing (when applicable) is handled by Stripe under their own terms. We do not sell, rent, or transfer your data to advertisers, brokers, or affiliates.

Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent regimes, you have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data; to object to processing; and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We honor verified requests within 30 days. Email privacy@gatewyse.com to exercise any of these rights.

Contact for privacy requests

For any privacy-related inquiry — access, deletion, complaint, or just a question — write to privacy@gatewyse.com. We respond within 30 days, usually faster.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be reflected here with an updated revision date at the top. We do not retroactively change how we treat data already collected; any change applies prospectively only.
